Upcoming and Newly Released Books

Check out Nalo Hopkinson’s latest contemporary fantasy novel, The New Moon’s Arms, coming out at the end of February. It has a really interesting premise: a menopausal woman finds something that’s been lost each time she has a hot flash. The first chapter of The New Moon’s Arms is available to read online.

Poison Study by Maria Snyder was released in November in Germany as “Yelena und die Magierin des SÃ?dens”, which translates to Yelena and the Sorceress of the South. Poison Study is also being re-released by Mira in March, in case you missed it the first time, and Maria is giving away signed ARCs of Poison Study on her website. Scroll down and look for “Referral Program!” Poison Study is a fantasy novel about a woman who faces a choice between execution or becoming the Commander’s food taster.
