MFA Application

Posted by Daphne on October 10th, 2006 — Posted in Writing Popular Fiction, Application

I don’t think I’ve talked much about my application to Seton Hill. I discovered the Seton Hill Writing Popular Fiction program a few months ago and spent several months trying to decide if I wanted to do it or not and finally decided yes! It’ll be difficult, but I’m willing to do it because I believe it will help me tremendously with my writing.

So I put together an application and got the transcripts and spiffed up a writing sample and (agonizingly) wrote the personal statement and asked for recommendations. Now it’s coming down the to deadline, which is this Friday (for the January semester). And today I heard from my last recommender that the recommendation has been sent. So my application is almost complete. I’ll double-check with the school in a couple days to make sure everything arrived, then it’s all done but the waiting.
